The route out and what it costs

Ras Al Khor sits between Ras Al Khor Road and Al Khail Road (E44), and your daily cost depends on which one you take. Heading to Downtown or Business Bay, you can stay on Ras Al Khor Road and reach Downtown in around 15 minutes without crossing a paid gate, which keeps the run free. The nearest Salik gate on the Al Khail side is the Business Bay Crossing, so a trip that uses that bridge adds one charge each way.

Salik is AED 6 at peak, which runs 06:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, and AED 4 the rest of the day. Crossings between 01:00 and 06:00 are free, and Sundays and public holidays are a flat AED 4. Linked gates passed within an hour count as a single charge, so a quick out-and-back can sometimes register once. For an airport run, DXB is roughly 15 to 20 minutes up Ras Al Khor Road, often with no toll at all depending on your exit.

Because we hold no deposit, Salik and any traffic fines are not blocked up front. They are reconciled after you return the car, charged at the original amount with the gate or fine shown, plus a flat admin fee on fines.
